Its predilection for the artist’s book led La Tranchefile
to become a publisher specializing in the medium.
Édition d’art La Tranchefile has published artists’
and poets’ books and other unique works since 1986. These
are often displayed in its exhibition space.
As an extension of its basic vocation of binding and decorating
books and contributing to their preservation, La Tranchefile
makes it a point to bring together writers, artists, typographers,
paper makers and bookbinders, in order to stimulate the creative
synergy required to produce books which are moving works of
art.
